We started several new units in the lab recently: Kindergarteners made roller coasters to make marbles go around curves and loops. First graders demonstrated how animal adaptations help them survive. Second graders build paper mountains to show how gravity makes rivers flow. Third graders showed how fossils can tell the story of how an environment changes over time. Fourth graders built (and took home) a working model of an eye. Fifth graders started a chemistry unit and used lab equipment to show that matter is made of particles too small to be seen. Sixth graders are studying Forces and Motion.
